Wrongful Death

Under the Michigan Wrongful Death lawsuit, the surviving family members and dependents are entitled to damages as a result of the death of their loved one.  In a wrongful death action, a probate estate must be opened and a Personal Representative appointed by a Probate Court in order to file a lawsuit.  Payments to survivors must be authorized by the Probate Court which will determine distribution of the proceeds in the event of a wrongful death.

Jeff and Brian each have handled wrongful death cases for more than 30 years.

This procedure applies whether a loved one died as a result of negligence in an automobile accident, negligence in a motorcycle accident, a pedestrian accident, a trucking accident or any other death resulting from negligence.

Jeff and Brian are well experienced in the Michigan Wrongful Death Act and negligence cases.
